In this role, you'll:

  • Motivate and guide a tight knit Linemarking team in a trades and non-trades environment.
  • Work collaboratively with your crew to resolve issues and find the best solution to problems that may arise.
  • Contribute to finding solutions to improve productivity during daily team meetings.
  • Mentor and lead by example when providing on the job training to team members in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Ensure safety is front and centre when performing daily activities and all environmental, quality controls are implemented on site.
  • Ensure scheduled Linemarking activities are completed within the desired timeframes and within budget in accordance with TfNSW specifications and operating procedures.

About you:

 

We’re seeking a proactive and organised leader with extended knowledge and experience in a Linemarking or civil construction environment who can provide strong leadership to bring out the best in their team. You will be an excellent communicator with great negotiation and conflict resolution skills. You will have proven ability to follow appropriate safe working procedures and resolve routine problems independently.

We want you to be your best and will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills.
You’ll hold the following:

  • Valid White card
  • Traffic Control certification
  • Valid Driver’s licence

 

Experience operating at a Road Worker Grade 3 or related labouring experience in a civil construction environment, and sound experience using internal reporting systems will be a requirement.

MR truck licence, while not essential, would be advantageous.

 

You will be required to work away from home on a regular basis
