In this role, you'll:

 

  • Competently operate trucks primarily designed for the haulage of materials.
  • Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow.
  • Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane.
  • Undertake any of the duties of a Bridge Worker as and when required.

This position operates on a 9-day fortnight.

 

We are seeking applicants that reside within a 100 km radius to the Waratah works depot or willing to relocate.

 

There will be times when you will be required to work outside of normal working hours and away from home with occasional night shift work.

About you:


We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a fast-paced work environment. You will be well versed in the Chain of Responsibility, (COR), with experience in heavy haulage.

 

In this role you will have a:

 

  • White Card
  • Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence
  • Labouring experience in Bridge work construction or civil environment
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)- preferred but not essential

Experience and certification in operating a Truck Mounted Crane (HIAB) will be ideal for this role but not essential as on the job training will be provided.

 

Traffic Control certification is an advantage but not essential.
