In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for developing and delivering road, bridge or traffic infrastructure and/or maintenance projects in order to achieve road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Manage project and delivery process including the delivery of direct control and contract works to ensure nominated road, bridge or traffic infrastructure and/or maintenance projects are developed and delivered to agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
  • Manage the investigation and design process by developing project briefs and cost estimates, procuring and overseeing service providers, monitoring and reviewing ongoing work programs to make effective use of resources and deliver agreed objectives.
  • Prepare contract documents for bridge and road works projects, including technical specifications to engage, administer and deliver contract works and ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare maintenance planning schedules, analyse asset performance and conditions.


This is a temporary full-time role up to 24 months. The home base is Windsor, and some travel may be required on occasion.

About you
To be considered for this role you will have a 4-year Engineering degree (any discipline) coupled with experience in developing of asset preventive and corrective maintenance strategies and maintenance schedules.

You’ll have solid experience in using asset management systems, asset maintenance planning, data analysis and reporting and the ability to analyse asset performance to improve reliability. Your good understanding of asset compliance requirements of safety, environmental, and operational standards will help you succeed in this role.

Additionally, we’re looking for someone with experience in adoption of best practices, new technologies, and automated systems to improve maintenance planning, asset condition monitoring and management.

You possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver licence and willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
