In this role, you'll:
Joining the Program Planning & Development team within Major Works of Sydney Trains, this role will see you report to the Senior Design Delivery Manager and act as a critical interface responsible for project managing the end-to-end project design life cycle.
You will manage the delivery of design and engineering projects in accordance with an agreed program using a combination of internal and external resources and manage ‘assurance’ for internal and external/third party designs.
In this highly collaborative role, you will be the central point of contact for Major Works, coordinating and interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders in providing technical assurance on externally delivered projects.

About you
You will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or relevant discipline and / or have demonstrated experience in design/project management, and financial and contract management experience preferably in a rail design environment coupled with a sound understanding of design standards on railway infrastructure.
You will have grounded working knowledge and experience of managing multiple and competing stakeholders within a complex project environment along with demonstrated experience in contract administration and you will have worked in a multi-discipline engineering environment. You will also ideally have a working knowledge in the use of PRIMAVERA P6 Scheduling software/ MS Project.
This is an Award RC6 Permanent Full-Time role, based at Clyde, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!
