In this role, you'll:

Be responsible for supporting over 4,000 users across the business, with a strong focus on the CAD platform and engineering applications used by disciplines such as civil, track, and electrical.

 

As a key member of the team, you'll work to customise and streamline these tools to improve performance and efficiency.

 

You'll also be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring they’re resolved promptly while delivering a high standard of customer service.

 

The role involves working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including CAD designers from engineering consultancies, to review drawings and maintain quality and consistency across all outputs.

About you

We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience using CAD tools—ideally MicroStation or a similar platform. Exposure to 3D environments would be considered an advantage.

 

The ideal applicant will also have a solid understanding of project management principles, particularly within IT or CAD-related contexts.

 

Additionally, experience with one or more of the following programming or markup languages—VB, VBA, XML, or HTML—is highly desirable.

 

This is a hybrid role where the team currently go to the office twice weekly.
