Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet.

To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers.

 

  • The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry. 
  • You will coordinate and perform planning activities to assess material requirements and manage safety stock
  • Undertake TFLE project reviews and replenishment activities
  • Liaise with TFLE stakeholders on forward requirements for key materials and major projects
  • Manage approvals and material supply to 3rd-party alliances, ensuring pricing accuracy and procurement compliance
  • Identify and recommend improvements across the end-to-end supply chain planning process

About you

 

You’re a proactive supply chain or rail planner with fast-paced planning experience supporting production, materials and compliance objectives.

 

You’re skilled in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and hold a Supply Chain/Rail tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
