In this role, you'll:


Support the delivery of safe, reliable, and timely maintenance across Sydney Trains’ fleet by preparing robust maintenance plans, conducting data analysis, and monitoring progress to ensure maintenance resources and capacity meet operational demand.


You’ll collaborate with planning and supply chain teams, generate real-time dashboards to track maintenance progress, and contribute to the effectiveness of operations by identifying trends and performance gaps. Strong communication and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external customers will be key to providing timely updates and maintaining alignment across the network.


This position also involves supporting new team members, sharing best practices, and contributing to process improvement through data-driven decision making.

About you


Tertiary qualifications in logistics, engineering, or a related field is preferred, combined with an analytical mindset and excellent organisational skills.


You are experienced in working within a dynamic operational environment, ideally in transport or fleet maintenance, and can manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations with professionalism.

Your ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and deliver accurate, real-time insights will help drive effective service delivery and continuous improvement.


This is a permanent RC3 opportunity based in Auburn, with full time hours in the office.
