In this role, you'll:
We have a rare part time opportunity for a Project Engineer to be a part of the Major Works division at Sydney Trains within the Track & Civil division. As Project Engineer you will deliver high quality planning, engineering, project management and site construction management for a varied set of projects.
The role will see you providing technical advice and the ability to share knowledge to build the technical capability of the Project Engineering & Support team. You will work closely with program managers and project managers. You will provide valuable experience and guidance to wide group of project engineers.
This role sits with our track team who oversee the maintenance, renewal and construction of track, track turnouts and general track infrastructure.
This part time role will see you work 36 hours over a 2 week period and is a temporary fixed term opportunity for up to 11 months.

About you
You will have Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, (Civil or Track) or equivalent related industry experience or equivalent along with extensive experience in project delivery within a rail environment. It is preferred that you have demonstrated experience working within track construction projects, more specifically have a technical knowledge in track delivery and how railways behave.
