In this role, you'll:
The role of Project Manager – Condition Monitoring and Security, will see you collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of a portfolio of projects within the Operational Technology unit.
The condition monitoring team are leading the way towards ‘smart’ maintenance, using automation and artificial intelligence technologies.
Your proven project management experience will ensure the success of the implementation and management of technological solutions required to service our network.
What you’ll be involved in:
-Manage assigned projects from inception to completion within time and budget constraints, ensuring work is completed to acceptable standards.
-Manage customer expectations by preparing and communicating project plans for each project and providing regular updates and feedback
-Negotiate any variations to the project with the client by liaising within Sydney Trains to find fit-for-purpose solutions to support clients needs.

About you
You will bring tertiary qualifications in Project Management or an Engineering discipline with demonstrated experience in Project Management Methodologies. Ideally, this will see you with demonstrated experience in managing medium to large complex technology projects that are integrated into a customer facing operational environment.
We are looking for someone with well-developed communication and collaboration skills who can balance the priorities of various internal and external stakeholders.
You have the proven ability to meet project objectives within the approved budget, timeframe, safety and quality parameters, ensuring the technology delivered meets business needs.
Your background in engineering or project management has equipped you with a deep understanding of large scale change and implementation managing complex multidisciplinary projects within an industry such as automation, rail, defence or engineering.
This is an Award RC6 Permanent Full-Time role, based at Clyde, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!
