Job reference number:  102404
Employment type:  Fixed Term Full-Time

You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.

You've been developing your skills and are ready to work on projects that matter to the people of NSW. You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.

In this role, you'll:

Take a proactive role as a Construction / Site Manager, leading teams to deliver critical civil infrastructure projects.

As a key member of the project team, you’ll be a hands-on leader, managing construction sites in high-risk environments with a strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

In this role, you’ll support a variety of civil works, which may include:

  • Earthworks and drainage
  • Stormwater and culvert installations
  • Overhead wiring (OHW) structures
  • Bridge works and steel repairs

You’ll set the standard on site, ensuring safe work practices while driving progress to meet project scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

About you

You’re an experienced Construction Manager or Site Manager, confident in leading teams and managing risks in high-risk environments. You thrive on collaboration and are skilled at working with both internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project outcomes.

You have a solid understanding of plant and equipment requirements - such as crane specifications - and the ability to interpret complex drawings to plan and deliver works safely and efficiently.

You’re comfortable working closely with Civil Program Managers and engaging with environmental and heritage teams to ensure projects are delivered with care and compliance.

You’re someone who values growth and development. After six months in the role, you could have the opportunity to contribute to early-stage project designs, helping shape the future of key infrastructure projects.

You enjoy being on-site and value the camaraderie of a tight-knit team. This is a predominantly site-based role, with a strong team culture supported by regular, in-person catchups every two weeks.
