Project Engineer

In this role, you'll:

Work as part of the Maintenance and Delivery Far North Coast team developing and delivering road related projects in order to achieve road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives.

This role will see you manage projects and delivery processes including the delivery of direct control and contract works to ensure nominated road projects. This is a temporary full time position up until March 2026.

Transport for NSW is currently in consultation to determine our workplace presence proposal which could see non-frontline employees primarily required to work from an approved office location under a hybrid agreement.

This particular role is currently based at our Ballina office hub.
 
The proposed changes do not impact the availability of flexible, hybrid working arrangements at Transport. We remain committed to providing an inclusive working environment and supporting all employees to work effectively and productively.

About you

You’re a proactive Project Engineer with a four- year engineering degree and road maintenance construction projects experience. You will be able to effectively problem solve and  manage a direct workforce. You hold a valid drivers licence and have the willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
