Road Worker - Bega

In this role, you'll:

You’ll perform sealing activity tasks using plant equipment and powered/non-powered hand tools.

You will undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but will not be limited to; pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance, road pavement rehabilitation, and small and heavy patching works. You must have experience working in a high-speed, high-volume traffic environment.

As this role supports a variety of work in regional NSW, travel will be required. You will therefore be required to work outside normal working hours and travel to various regional and remote work locations away from home.
 

About you

You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.

You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.  
 
You must hold the following tickets/ Licences:
 
• White Card
• Current driver’s licence
• Traffic Control tickets (implement traffic Control Plan) is preferred
• A Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence would be ideal but not essential for this position.
 
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1- 3 level or related civil construction labouring experience. Please refer to the position description below for more detail.

You will live within a 100 km radius to the Bega works depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours and work away from home when required.
