In this role, you'll:

Work as part of an experienced team assisting in the maintenance and repair of Hunter Line diesel passenger trains in Broadmeadow (NSW) to allow trains to remain in or return to service. This also includes regular scheduled maintenance which involves decanting, washing and trades assistant duties including graffiti removal, seat recovering, window tinting and workshop housekeeping duties. 

You may be required to travel to different locations to assist with breakdowns, but we've got your travelled covered. 

You will work individually and as part of a friendly and supportive team whilst keeping safety and quality as a priority.

This is a full-time opportunity based at Broadmeadow, Newcastle.

This is a 24/7 rotating roster which may include evenings and public holidays.

About you

Your can-do attitude and willingness to learn will see you succeed in this role.


You're recognised as a team player but also have the ability to work autonomously.


You may have experience in a similar field or a trade background, however training is provided on the job.

 
Your open to travel and have a current 'C' class licence.
