In this role, you'll:

be working as part of the Finance, Technology & Commercial Division, you will oversee operational technology platform activities across Transport for NSW.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Operational Technology, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a new business function. Your mission: to ensure operational technology platforms and applications are optimally managed, drive seamless operations, provide enhanced service delivery and digital transformation across Transport for NSW.

You will define the unit’s vision, strategy, and operating model, establish OT roadmaps and governance frameworks that support safety, resilience, and operational performance of business-critical applications, platforms and systems.

About you

We are seeking a senior leader with a courageous and agile mindset, who excels as a relationship-focused business partner. You will have a proven track record in platform and application management and operations, with deep knowledge of enterprise technology platforms, cloud computing, automation, and IT service management. You will bring demonstrated experience in establishing new business areas and successfully setting up technology operations strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.

With a clear leadership vision, you are future-focused and innovative, continuously seeking new opportunities while maintaining a strong understanding of what truly matters to the organisation and its stakeholders.
