In this role, you'll:
Provide critical strategic leadership, vision and oversight in Technology delivery across variety of Transport technology eco systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and leading the successful delivery of technology solutions. This role ensures that technology initiatives are strategically planned, effectively executed, and deliver measurable value to the organisation.

Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for technology delivery, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s business objectives and goals solutions in a multifaceted area of SAP, Platforms and Rail.

Lead the management of technology delivery, ensuring optimal utilisation and alignment with business needs and direct technology solutions, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, to ensure successful delivery of Technology.

Establish and enforce best practises for project management in collaboration with the Portfolio Management Office & Enablement (PMO&E), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality across all projects. Evaluate and report on the progress of major projects, providing regular updates to senior leadership on status, risks, issues, and achievements.

Partner and promote your vision with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, developing strategic relationships and providing expert advice to impact decisions, support initiatives and clarify accountability.

Provide leadership to a variable number of direct and indirect reports facilitating your team development, wellbeing and engagement. You will create a supportive and productive team environment that inspires trust, innovation, learning, collaboration, and promotes a culture of innovation, creativity and inclusivity that contributes to core business activities.

New permanent, fulltime Transport Senior Service Executive (1B) role | Home office Macquarie Park. Hybrid work arrangements based on role requirements and in line with Transport's evolving policies for workplace presence.

About you
A seasoned and dynamic executive leader you’re recognised for your extensive expertise in Technology delivery within a large and complex organisation.

 

You possess:

  • Extensive experience in technology delivery, program management, and application portfolio management within a large and complex organisation.
  • Exceptional and proven stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk management principles.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale technology projects that drive business transformation.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent industry-based experience at a senior level within a relevant workplace context.
