In this role, you'll:


• Work as part of our specialised  Survey Team on a variety of rail infrastructure projects across the Sydney Trains network.
• Support the delivery of specialist rail surveys using both traditional and modern data capture technologies. Travel to and work at different rail sites, delivering high-quality fieldwork and survey outcomes to support stakeholders.
• Deliver survey projects in line with technical standards and client needs, applying your technical knowledge to meet project requirements, safety and quality standards, and contribute to innovative solutions.

This is a Permanent full-time role based in Auburn, with travel to rail sites across the rail network.

Your work will help ensure the safe, efficient operation of one of Australia’s most important transport networks.

About you


• You have a degree in Surveying (recognised by BOSSI) and are confident using surveying instruments and software, including CAD such as MicroStation or similar.
• Demonstrated experience producing technical sketches, drawings, and reports and able to follow quality control procedures to deliver accurate, high-standard work.
• You’re proactive, safety-conscious and a strong communicator who enjoys working with others, you’re also ready to step up and take initiative when out in the field. 

You’ll enjoy working within a supportive team culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and safety and gain hands-on training and mentoring in railway surveying, building a solid understanding of how surveying supports the full asset lifecycle.
