In this role, you'll:

Support the smooth delivery of complex, high-impact projects that are set to revolutionise how Sydney moves!

 

Your responsibilities will range from project management support to collating, compiling, and analysing data to identify risks, track progress, and ensure that key deliverables are met on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

 

You’ll organise and prepare reports, maintaining project documentation, and follow up on actions to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and that projects are moving forward as planned.

 

Stakeholder engagement will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, where you will support the project managers by interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. This will help ensure that safety, scope, budget, quality, and timeline goals are met. You will also play an integral role in maintaining safety standards in line with Sydney Trains' safety management system.

This is a temporary fixed term contract for up to 8 months.

 

This is a hybrid role with your team’s home base in World Square, 680 George Street, Sydney.

 

About you

You’re an experienced Program Coordinator with a background in project management ideally within the rail or infrastructure industry.

 

You have strong communication skills and excel at stakeholder engagement, ensuring that everyone involved in a project is well-informed.

 

Ambitious, proactive and motivated; you’re eager to grow your career and have aspirations of moving into a project management role in the future. You thrive on challenges and are keen to learn as well as contribute and share your knowledge.

 

Additionally, your detail oriented, with excellent organisational and reporting skills, ensuring that all documents, reports, and actions are up to date.
