In this role, you'll:
You will be responsible for developing and aligning HR policies and procedures to ensure that they support business objectives and are consistent with government policy, legislative and industrial requirements.

You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve major performance and productivity improvement goals and to resolve issues and impediments to simplifying policies and procedures across the agencies.

You will enjoy undertaking research and extensive analysis to develop quality policy documents.

This 9-month temporary position is available in a hybrid working model which are aligned with our Flexible Working Arrangements procedures which offers hybrid arrangements subject to approvals including having a mix of in-person days in our Elizabeth Street office as well as remote working.

About you
You are a passionate individual who has a strong policy background with a corporate or internal policy focus.

You demonstrate a high level of innovative, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving ability.

You demonstrate excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail and experience interpreting legislation and industrial instruments.

You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and steer conversations. You are also skilled in building relationships and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
