Join Our Dynamic Procurement Team at Transport for NSW!

Within the Finance, Technology, and Commercial Division, our Procurement team provides a centre-led approach to ensure enterprise-wide consistency in procurement services.

This role will see you support Over 26,000 Customers by providing expert sourcing services to a vast customer base. You will collaborate and work alongside 36 dedicated professionals within the FTC Sourcing Team, reporting to the Senior Manager.

You will engage with specialized groups including Professional Services, ICT, Goods & Services, and handle end-to-end low to medium complexity sourcing activities for goods, services, and infrastructure-related procurement policy frameworks, and contribute to meaningful social procurement initiatives.

Right now, we have opportunities for 8 Fixed term – 6 months temporary vacancies in the Operational Sourcing Team.

About you

• You are an experienced and process driven Sourcing Specialist.
• You have substantial experience in a similar role, with a strong background in end-to-end procure-to-pay processes and medium complexity sourcing. Procurement experience is essential.
• You are highly adaptable, able to adhere to new processes and procedures, and consistently work with accuracy.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, S4 HANA, Beeline, and Ariba, is highly regarded.
• You possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• You are agile and prepared to work across various categories, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
