In this role, you'll:


In conjunction with a well-established and inclusive team, you will be responsible for keeping Sydney Trains in a secure and efficient running order.

Working with an experienced manager, your challenge is to be accountable for providing effective procurement and sourcing for the operations and planning function in either the Hamilton or Sydenham depot by equipment ordering, invoicing, reconciliation, records management, data collation and analyses, audit and probity checks.

In addition, you will complete reports, coordinate information gathering and organising support services.  You will be working on different projects related to Rail Repairs, Overheads etc.

You will have the opportunity to develop your career in a large organisation by learning more about contract management, invoice processing and order placement.

This is permanent full-time position.

About you


You have sound knowledge of procurement/administrative systems & procedures, including records management, compliance and audit.

Have strong organisational skills to drive complex projects and outcomes and an ability to implement process as required.

Ideally you will have strong IT skills with software packages such as Microsoft Office, Databases, Management Systems.

Be highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively and handle conflicting priorities and proven ability to use your initiative and work autonomously.

You will have the ability to adapt your communication style to a wide variety of stakeholders, as well as extensive experience in managing new and existing contracts with vendors
