In this role, you'll:
• Provide technical leadership and engineering support for critical Operational Technology systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations within the Sydney Trains network.


• Lead system integration design activities, including requirements definition, system decomposition, and interface management, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are delivered with engineering due diligence.


• Develop and implement assurance frameworks, including system verification, validation, and risk management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and safety.


• Optimise maintenance strategies through detailed analyses, ensuring long-term reliability and operational efficiency.


• Oversee change management and quality assurance processes, ensuring successful integration of new systems and strict compliance with Sydney Trains' safety and engineering standards.

About you
• Proven experience in engineering assurance and systems engineering methodologies.


• Expertise in developing technical documents, business requirement specifications, and system requirement specifications.


• Strong analytical skills to validate designs and ensure comprehensive requirements coverage.


• Ability to lead complex system integration activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational safety.


• Demonstrated ability to deliver value-driven engineering solutions that enhance system performance and meet organizational needs.
