In this role, you'll:
Join our Warehouse Operations team in Engineering and Maintenance at Sydney Trains where you'll play a key role in supporting infrastructure inventory facilities across Clyde, Chullora, and Strathfield.

Your focus will be on receiving, storing and distributing materials and goods to meet infrastructure business requirements. This includes inspecting materials for quality and quantity, storing them in accordance with established procedures, processing material requests and coordinating dispatch and delivery. Additionally, you will assist in sorting returned materials from depots and processing according to their conditions.

You'll also be responsible for conducting periodic stocktakes, reporting on inventory levels and maintaining buildings, storage facilities and material handling equipment to ensure asset integrity and compliance.

This is a permanent full-time (RC3) opportunity located at Clyde. At times you may be required to work across other sites such as Chullora and Strathfield and provide occasional on-call support to Emergency Spares Locations (ESL’s) within the Sydney Metro Region.

About you
Hands-on experience in warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory control, stock management, and conducting stocktakes. You enjoy working within established systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence, with extensive experience operating high-reach forklifts. A Dogging (DG) Licence is desirable, and you're willing to undertake in-house training to meet operations requirements.

You bring sound knowledge of inventory management systems, ideally SAP and you're confident using ERP systems. You are familiar with rail infrastructure products and requirements and apply safe work practices in line with WHS legislation and the Dangerous Goods Code of Practice.
