In this role, you'll:

Join our Road Maintenance & Resilience team to safely operate Heavy Combination vehicles.

 

You will be required to tow any trailers that your vehicle is rated to tow and operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane. You will be required to load and secure plant equipment and deliver to various worksites as required.

 

This role will see you perform a wide range of complex labouring tasks, including the safe operation of small plant and powered and non-powered hand tools, under limited supervision.

 

You will also be required to perform duties of a Road Worker Grade 3 as required, load and secure plant equipment and deliver to various worksites as required.

 

1 x permanent full-time opportunity in Coffs Harbour.

2 x permanent full-time opportunities in Fernbank Creek.

About you

You are an experienced Heavy Combination Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.

 

You reside within a 70km radius from Fernbank Creek or Coffs Harbour depot.

 

You understand and comply with the chain of responsibility obligations.

 

You have sound experience operating HIAB or similar truck mounted cranes and experience undertaking physical labouring duties.

 

You are prepared to work outside regular working hours (day and night works when required), attend after hour callouts, and prepared to travel extensively throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station including camping away from home when needed.

 

You will hold the following:

  • White Card
  • HC Driver Licence
  • Traffic control certifications
