In this role, you'll:
Join our Major Events team as an Events Coordinator, where you will provide a broad range of high-quality business and administrative services to support the end-to-end management, coordination and implementation of a range of traffic and transport strategies for major events across NSW.

You will support the Director Major Events and the wider team with operational and administrative activities including records management, diary management, reporting and archiving, meeting preparation, coordination and minuting, preparation of agendas, presentations and event briefs, along with other administrative functions.

You will also liaise with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure quality, cost-effective and timely provision of goods and services to support the major events team in delivery of high-quality major events.

This is a temporary, full time position up to July 2027, and offers hybrid working from our Transport Management Centre (TMC) at Eveleigh, Sydney. Please note this role may require work ouside of business hours on ocasion, to support the delivery of events.

About you
You are an acomplished Administrator with experience supporting Executive or Senior Leadership teams, ideally within a large, complex, operational environment.

Your diligence and strong organisational skills, ability to multitask under pressure, and to provide seamless administrative support in a fast paced environment will see you excel in this role. 

You are agile and adaptable, have strong problem solving skills, and the ability to see the big picture whilst focusing on the details. You are also recognied for your strong communication skills and strengths in building relationships with all levels of stakeholders.

Your intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office will allow you to deliver high quality, timely service in a high volume, pressurised and time critical work environment.
