In this role, you'll:
Manage end-to-end project delivery as the Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery (Production) for our Tangara Fleet Life Extension Project. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production master plan in collaboration with discipline leads from critical areas such as Production, Supply Chain, Engineering and Assurance, Testing and Commissioning, and PMO.

Your key tasks will include project forecasting, scheduling, and sequencing production activities to effectively attain the predefined key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that outcomes are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budgetary constraints.

You'll play a key role in establishing robust project management frameworks, driving efficiencies, and ensuring successful delivery within an operational and safety-critical rail environment.

This is a fixed term full-time role up to 24 months, based at Flemington and the salary is RC7 ($167,229 - $183,993) + super + annual leave loading. This is a rare opportunity to work on the largest rolling stock life extension project in NSW history. About you
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, operational and safety-critical projects in highly regulated environments such as rail, mining or heavy industry, or equivalent.

Ability to lead end-to-end project delivery, including forecasting, budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder engagement. 

A solid understanding of supply chain, production planning and sequencing, and how these impact operational outcomes.

Proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, and document management systems. Training in PRINCE or PMBOK is desirable although not essential.

Solution-focused mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to drive efficiencies and deliver successful outcomes in high-visibility environments.

Experience in rolling stock upgrades or fleet modernisation projects is highly desirable but not essential.
