In this role, you'll:

 

Be working as part of a team delivering the medical review program for all NSW Driver Licence holders and ensuring drivers remain fit and proper to hold such a licence. You will be involved in high volume work reviewing medical reports, referring to standards and legislation and liaising with stakeholders including, doctors, specialists, the general public and people within Transport for NSW.

 

This role will see you contribute to the safety of NSW roads while developing an understanding of the specific rules and legislation which applies to drivers, both private and commercial while developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

 

You will navigate the various enquiries and use appropriate legislation and rules to provide advice to ensure that all are addressed in a timely and efficient manner providing the best possible outcome for all parties in a high volume environment.

 

This is a fast paced role which is office based in Grafton.

 

Please note there are multiple full-time Temporary Fixed Term roles of varying periods up to 12 months.

Your strong communication and customer service skills, empathy and ability to understand and interpret legislation formed across your career in roles where you have liaised directly with the general public will see you equipped with some of the important skills and attributes which you will bring to provide helpful and professional advice leading to successful, timely outcomes. 

 

You're recognised as a team player who is adaptable and flexible, skilled at working in a high volume, pressure environment, experienced in prioritising work, understanding and interpreting legislation or rules and policies.
