In this role, you'll:


You’ll deliver a broad range of maintenance activities including assessing maintenance requirements, undertaking repairs and maintenance and allocating maintenance tasks to contractors to ensure assets within a Region are maintained effectively.

You’ll assist all the District Maintenance Coordinators in a Region to manage maintenance work requests.

You’ll contribute to the development of Maintenance plans by participating in inspections and assessing maintenance tasks reported by station staff to ensure maintenance activities are aligned to Sydney Trains objectives.

You’ll conduct site visits, liaise with staff and prepare work specifications to provide input to the scope of maintenance work.

Note: It is a requirement of the position to work and travel across all Districts within the Region (between Sydney CBD, Bondi Junction and Inner West).

 


About you


You’ll hold a Trade qualification in a relevant trade such as Carpenter or Plumber.

You’ll demonstrated experience in a building maintenance or construction environment.

You’ll hold a current Drivers Licence, Class MR Vehicle, and Forklift licence and experience in operating and maintaining industrial tools for minor works.

You’ll have demonstrated computer skills including the ability to use workflows to obtain work tasks.

You’ll have demonstrated understanding of WHS legislation within a maintenance environment.
