In this role, you'll:
Provide critical strategic vision and leadership to develop and oversee the execution of Transport for NSW’s technology strategy. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, works with key stakeholders, drives innovation, and strategically plans for future technology needs to support organisational growth and transformation.
Develop, implement and oversee the execution of a comprehensive Technology strategy that aligns with organisational goals and objectives and drives innovation, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technological advancement within the organisation.
Report on the status of Technology strategy execution, highlighting achievements, risks, and areas for improvement to senior leadership, while monitoring industry trends and developments, assessing their potential impact on the organisation and adjusting the Technology strategy accordingly.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and Technology related challenges and collaborate across departments to integrate Technology solutions that enhance overall business performance.
Provide leadership to direct reports and various indirect reports facilitating your team development, wellbeing and engagement. You will create a supportive and productive team environment that inspires trust, innovation, learning, collaboration, and promotes a culture of innovation, creativity and inclusivity that contributes to core business activities.

About you
An accomplished and authentic executive leader you’re recognised as an expert Technology strategist.
You possess:
- Extensive experience in technology strategy development, execution, and governance within a large and complex organisation.
- Proven leadership in driving digital transformation and innovation.
- Strong ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Expertise in emerging technologies, industry trends, and their implications for corporate strategy.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and leadership skills at an executive level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent industry-based experience at a senior level within a relevant workplace context.
