Snr Solution Architect (App Monitoring)

In this role, you'll:

• Define, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide monitoring architecture across cloud, on-premises, security operations, and applications.

• Provide expert guidance to project teams and stakeholders to embed monitoring throughout the system development lifecycle.

• Evaluate solution architecture designs and recommend enhancements to support operational reliability and security.

• Identify monitoring-related risks and propose robust, innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals.

• Lead the adoption of monitoring best practices and tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Airlock.

• Oversee vendor management with a focus on unified financial planning and performance accountability.

• Ensure alignment between business units and IT Monitoring Services to support strategic and operational outcomes.

• Foster a culture of collaboration across teams and vendors to improve service integration and monitoring outcomes.

• Contribute to and maintain adherence to the endorsed Monitoring Strategy and Architecture across the organization.

• Manage complex stakeholder relationships and consultations to resolve technical and business challenges effectively.

• Influence policy development balancing service delivery, stakeholder needs, and technical considerations in a multi-layered environment.

About you

• Proven experience designing and maintaining monitoring architectures across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, applications, and security operations.

• Demonstrated expertise with enterprise monitoring tools, particularly Splunk, Dynatrace, and Airlock, including architectural planning and deployment.

• Strong understanding of operational reliability, system performance, and embedding monitoring into the full system development lifecycle.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive collaboration across technical teams, vendors, and business units.

• Experience managing risks and technical complexity in large-scale, multi-platform environments.

• Deep knowledge of monitoring strategy, standards, and alignment with enterprise IT frameworks.

• Strong financial and vendor management capability, with experience in unified planning and reporting.

• Required Certifications (any combination of the following):

o Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect

o Splunk Certified ITSI Admin

o Splunk Enterprise Security Certified Admin

o Splunk Cloud Certified Admin

o Splunk IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin

o Splunk O11y Cloud Certified Metrics User
