In this role, you'll:
be working as part of our Group Technology Branch delivering technology based projects for the Opal Next Generation Program.
The $567.9 million Opal Next Generation program will provide customers with greater choice when travelling on the Opal network, by introducing Opal Cards for digital wallets and providing customers with an increase in new technologies for improved journey planning, payment options and information access.
This role will see you lead the design and implementation of a range of systems integration / technology projects for the ONG program. The role manages the end-to-end delivery of complex and integrated technology solutions requiring the effective management of solution scope, key stakeholders, system suppliers, Transport resources, budgets and issues and risks.”
This position is Fixed Term to 31/12/27 and based at Macquarie Park and the team also works from Elizabeth Street in the city. 2-3 days a week in the office with hybrid work arrangements. For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.

About you
Your skills and experience as Project Manager of technology projects will see you excel in delivering ONG projects for Transport for NSW. You will have extensive experience in the end-to-end technology project delivery lifecycle, from project scoping and initiation, through design and build to implementation and project closure. Experience with project management methodologies such as Transport’s PEFM is advantageous.
An expert in project delivery, connecting the dots to solve implementation roadblocks and forging good working relationships within the broader program team, you are a solution focused thinker and you thrive in the development and delivery of effective operational outcomes for the people of NSW.
