In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Road Maintenance & Resilience team, where you will be undertaking construction and maintenance related projects for Transport. You can be based in either Coonabarabran, Narrabri and Moree, with projects located in the vicinity of these 3 locations (Coonabarabran, Narrabri or Moree).
You will operate a range of plant items such as (skid steer loader, Roller, loader, grader, lime/binder spreader, stabilisers/pulvi mixers, MR/HR truck, etc.) to support road infrastructure's efficient construction and maintenance. This position also undertakes a range of Road Worker Grade 3 duties when required.
You will perform routine and complex labouring/ manual tasks, including the safe operation of a range of large/complex plant items under limited supervision.
This role works a standard 38-hour week/ 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off. Standard working hours are 7am - 4pm with opportunities for over time. The successful applicant will be required to travel and work away from home as required.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- You’ll be a driven and collaborative person who works well in a team environment, is eager to learn and takes pride in their work.
• Experience in civil construction operating plant and machinery, or Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent qualification.
- Possessa current Construction Industry White Card
- Current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver's license
• Beneficial to have Traffic Controller Card – Implement Traffic Control Plan, or ability to gain within 3 months of employment
•Beneficial to have Traffic Controller Card – Prepare Work Zone, or ability to gain within 3 months of employment
- Beneficial to have a truck licence.
• Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
