In this role, you’ll:
Be an experienced Truck Driver (MR GANG) and join either our Maintenance Crew based in Heatherbrae and Nabiac NSW – As we have 2 openings, 1 based in Heatherbrae and 1 based in Nabiac.
- Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Maintenance & Delivery or Construction team
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
- Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane.
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
- In addition to the above, the trucks operated by this position may include water tankers and Flocon Trucks (asphalt transport)
- Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise
- Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards
- Work a 9 Day Fortnight
We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.

Essential Licenses and Tickets:
- White Card
- MR Driver Licence
- Traffic control certifications (Implement Traffic Control/Prepare Work Zone)
Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
You will live within 100km radius of the Heatherbrae or Nabiac works depot
Whilst not essential, experience in operating plant (excavator, bobcat, padfoot/smooth drum roller) is advantageous.
