In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Road Design North Hub within Infrastructure & Place's Technical Services branch providing direction, expertise, and a hands-on approach in leading the design of roads and related structures. Collaborating with Transport Planners, Traffic Modellers and Project Management team to plan and manage road design options.
This role will see you leading tasks and supporting regional NSW infrastructure projects improving safety on NSW roads, easing traffic congestions, creating new spaces to connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
Position can be based in TfNSW Newcastle Office.

About you
You are passionate about Road Design with extensive experience in the design of roads and related structures within infrastructure projects and the following:
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Knowledge of Transport for NSW (formally RMS) standards.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads / 12D / Civil 3D
• Be willing to undertake and complete Road Safety Auditor training.
