You’re ready to play an essential role behind the scenes by providing vital support, ensuring seamless project execution, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.

 

In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Project Services North team responsible for the development, management and implementation of transport infrastructure projects to achieve Transport for NSW and Government road safety, asset management and network efficiency objectives. The role will sit within the Project Services North (Hunter) team and operate as an ongoing, dedicated resource to develop and deliver bridge maintenance and rehabilitation packages of work to be delivered by Regional Road Network Maintenance teams, Councils or by contract engagements managed by Project Services.

 

This is a temporary full time position until March 2027 onsite at our Newcastle office.

About you
You have a proven history seeking and gaining relevant internal and external approvals necessary to undertake bridge rehabilitation projects. You have demonstrated ability in the analysis of infrastructure information, interpretation of plans and geotechnical reports, survey, estimating, budgeting, and scheduling. You will be a proactive analytical thinker and possess high level communication skills. The ability to astutely manage time and work collaboratively and closely with stakeholders to deliver is paramount, as is your dedicated commitment to safety and quality.

 

You hold a minimum of 10 years experience in the investigation, development and delivery of bridge projects across diverse structure types, including: concrete, steel and heritage timber and iron (wrought and cast) bridge rehabilitation projects. You have a valid Australian motor vehicle driver license  and a four year civil engineering degree.
