Rail Maintainer - Painter

In this role, you'll:
Reporting to the Maintenance Shift Manager, You must have a core trade in either Car building, Painting or Trimming. You are also trained to carry out Customer Service activities such as painting, graffiti removal, fitting of decals, replacement of seats and window on Electrical fleet passenger trains to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for the passenger fleet.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity and will be based at the Mortdale Maintenance Centre.
This is a rotating shift work position consisting of Day, afternoon & nights, there may be a requirement to work weekends & extended shifts (penalty rates and overtime) depending on the workload.

About you
• Certificate of Proficiency or relevant experience in either Carbuilding, Welding, Plumbing, Painting or Trimming
• Motor Vehicle Driver’s license
• Vigilant to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace
• Demonstrated ability to conduct inspections, services, maintenance, modification, upgrades, component changes and repairs to systems and equip
