Orange, NSW, AU, 2800
You always put safety first in everything you do.
You've been developing your skills and are ready to work on projects that matter to the people of NSW. You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering essential road infrastructure and bitumen sealing across NSW, you’ll help keep our roads safe and resilient by supporting the construction, maintenance and renewal of road surfaces.
This role will see you join our Bitumen Sealing crew, taking on a range of practical tasks including applying bituminous materials, laying and removing insulation paper, placing stick and stomps, and general labouring.
You’ll work 11 days a fortnight (Sundays off), mostly away from home for 9-10 months of the year, with accommodation arranged and Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA) provided.
With opportunities to gain new skills such as traffic control tickets and exposure to plant operations, you’ll build valuable experience in a supportive team.
You will contribute to safer, smoother roads and longer-lasting infrastructure in a hands-on, outdoor environment that spans 60% of the state—from Lithgow to Goondiwindi, and as far as Broken Hill and Tibooburra.
Please note there are 3 positions available, and all positions are based in Dubbo.
