In this role, you'll:

 

Work as part of a team supporting regulatory programs by processing bus operator and driver authorisations and Driving Instructor applications and renewals.

This role will see you engage in a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of a high volume of applications.

You will validate application data into various TfNSW systems reviewing and assessing applications and contacting applicants for any missing information ensuring that they are processed within the tight deadlines in a frontline structured environment while effectively prioritising tasks.

Please note that this is a full-time temporary role until 29 May 2026.

As this role is being backfilled while staff are on leave, there will be no leave approved between January to March 2026 except during Christmas shutdown period (25.12.25 to 9.1.26 inclusive).

About you

 

Your ability to process a high volume of varied applications accurately formed while working in a similar role will see you excel in delivering the requirements of the role. You will use your ability to effectively evaluate applications, assessing   whether applicant’s meet the required eligibility criteria, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

You're recognised as a processing officer with ability to problem solve and the capability to analyse information independently using word-processing software and database applications.  Additionally, you will utilise your strong communication skills and experience liaising with stakeholders to explain requirements to ensure that smooth processing of applications and maintaining confidentiality of all information.
