In this role, you'll:
In this newly created position, you will join a dedicated team as an infrastructure (Roads and Bridges) Project Development Manager working to support the Mamre Road upgrade, part of the greater Aerotropolis mega development, in order to meet the State Government and TfNSW objectives.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will lead the development of major roads and bridge infrastructure projects and manage multi-disciplinary teams of specialists in areas such as road safety, transport management, road and bridge design, utility management, community engagement and environmental impact assessment.
You will manage project development activities from strategic planning, concept development, business case preparation, approvals, and delivery readiness including procurement of professional service contractors and subsequent contract management.
You will work with a high performing team of industry professionals involved with investigations, detailed scoping, risk management, constructability assessment, stakeholder consultation and environmental assessment of complex major infrastructure development projects to ensure high quality and effective delivery of projects.
This opportunity is initially offered as a fixed-term contract until 01/10/2026

About you
Extensive experience in project planning, development and project management within an infrastructure (roads, bridges) environment, leading teams of multi-disciplinary professionals and technical staff.
You would have previously been involved in the management of road/bridge infrastructure projects from inception and guided the projects through an investment assurance process.
Possess a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (preferably Civil), project management or other related discipline or equivalent relevant experience in developing major civil, road or infrastructure projects, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
extensive experience in related discipline, and have project development experience (strategic planning, concept design, environmental studies and traffic analysis) in major infrastructure projects.
You will be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and the ability to present complex information to TfNSW clients, external agencies, local Councils and the community.
Possess a valid Australian motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
