In this role, you'll:


• Review and validate technical designs, acting as a subject matter expert for defect fixes and minor enhancements.


• Lead and manage service provider teams to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support services effectively.


• Enable support teams to implement workarounds, conduct root cause analysis, and drive system stability improvements.


• Provide technical guidance and solution reviews involving Java/J2EE, Oracle databases, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.


• Oversee and support issue tracking and collaboration using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.


• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes through DevOps tools and practices.


• Analyse and support systems handling Transport for NSW’s data domain, including vehicle positions and real-time tracking.


• Apply a strong understanding of XML-based data standards for the interchange and integration of transport information.

About you


• Proven experience working as a Technical Lead in both project delivery and production support environments.


• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with databases including SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, and T-SQL, as well as data modelling and design.


• Strong experience with Java-based technologies including J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and application servers like Tomcat.


• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices to support continuous integration and deployment processes.


• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, with AWS experience considered an advantage.


• Experience using application monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk is desirable.


• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with global delivery partners and cross-functional teams.
