Team Leader Licence Integrity and Security (6 Months Temporary Opportunity)

In this role, you'll:
Lead a team protecting Transport's customers who hold a driver licence or photo card, by using facial recognition to detect identity fraud and maintaining the integrity of the licensing register by ensuring customers are correctly identified.
This role will see you demonstrate Transport Connected leadership by role modelling collegiate and collaborative behaviours.
You will lead the team by engaging and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and partners to strengthen the proof of identity (POI) and enrolment processes and cyber security measures for combating identity fraud. You will deliver investigation reports and Briefs of Evidence to support legal proceedings and develop and streamline processes to increase efficiencies and improve outcomes of the team.
Please note: This role is a temporary fixed term opportunity until 31 December 2025. The role is mainly office-based in Parramatta. Regional candidates will be considered however you would have to commit to regular travel to Parramatta.

About you
Your leadership skills formed across a career working for a large organisation, ideally regulatory or compliance related, will see you equipped to deliver value to stakeholders and support a small team whose work you will guide and review whilst developing and maintaining productive relationships with all stakeholders internal and external to ensure effective, timely outcomes of the unit. You're recognised as a strong leader, skilled at communicating, with the ability to look at the bigger picture and assess implications of actions, complaints, allegations and investigations. You will need to be able to research, interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures to provide specialist advice regarding Proof of Identity issues and investigations. Ideally you will have DRIVES experience.
