In this role, you'll:
As part of the Workforce Capability & Learning team within People & Culture branch this role will see you manage the delivery of the Sydney Trains Learning & Competency Framework within predominantly the Engineering & Maintenance  and Safety Environment Quality Risk (SEQR) divisions, ensuring learning programs are maintained and aligned with operational competency and capability requirements. 


You will be responsible for ensuring that all programs meet business and legislative standards, support safe and effective role performance, and provide a strong platform for participants to achieve and maintain high levels of competency.


You will have the opportunity to utilise your strong leadership and mentoring skills to lead, empower and inspire a team of Learning Operations and Learning Facilitators & Trainers to deliver quality service outcomes.

 
This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with P & C Strategic Workforce Capability and aligned business area to identify the annual learning demand plan and provide on-going reporting on the status against the delivery plan(s).

About you
You're Tertiary qualified  in training, organisational development or have equivalent experience in a related field.


You bring demonstrated proven track record in implementing and delivering learning and competency frameworks to ensure the organisation has the appropriate capability to meet business needs in a large complex environment.


You have demonstrated leadership capability and can effectively manage team performance and development to deliver quality service outcomes.


You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with a range of internal Sydney Trains stakeholders, with a focus on the Engineering and Maintenance and SEQR divisions.


You will also have  proven experience with union engagement in a complex environment.
