You crave a career that pushes you, where you'll meet challenges head on and you're guaranteed to grow.

Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.

In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a dynamic team supporting the Transport Management Centre (TMC). This role is pivotal in managing the 24/7 rostering for TMC staff, that keep NSW’s transport network running smoothly. From major events like the Sydney Marathon and New Year’s Eve, to handling unplanned disruptions such as breakdowns or weather events, you’ll ensure every shift is covered and staff are rostered appropriately across Operations and Communications.

You’ll be in charge of managing 150 rosters, and ensuring everything runs efficiently. You’ll also update payroll information through Microster and SAP for 150 staff, making sure everyone is paid correctly. This role is about finding the balance between operational needs, managing staff fatigue, and adapting to the fast-paced environment of the TMC.

About you

You thrive in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment, and you know how to stay organised while managing multiple tasks. With previous rostering experience, you have a good understanding of how transport operations work and how essential rostering is to keep things running smoothly. You’re comfortable adapting to changes on the fly, and your communication skills make it easy for you to collaborate with your team and stakeholders.

You’re someone who handles sensitive matters with care and ensures everything runs according to business rules. Your attention to detail will make sure shifts are filled appropriately and payroll is always up to date. You’re also highly organised and can work under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience with Microster and SAP would be a plus, but it’s not essential if you’re willing to learn.

If you’re someone who enjoys working in a supportive and high-energy environment, and you’re looking to make a real impact on the transport network, this is the role for you!
