In this role, you'll:
Provide ongoing 24/7 level, 2/3 engineering and technical support on safety and mission critical systems hardware and software to ensure the systems meet the operational availability. This role will also assist with the delivery of system upgrades and deployment of new systems and technology

Support ongoing management of Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) across their lifecycles including feature improvements, hardware change, retraining, and end of life decommissioning.

Contribute towards the design, development and implementation of ITS solutions by understanding the client’s requirements and providing ITS hardware inputs to concept of operations, requirement analysis and functional specifications processes. Primary focus will be from a supportability perspective.

Assist in system testing for ITS products by developing a very good understanding of the testing procedures and hardware and software peculiarities of various products.

Prepare technical instructions, systems integration plans, verification and validation plans, acceptance test plans and related systems integration documents.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in systems support, integration design, development and testing for ITS products/ hardware.
  • Some experience in developing software.
  • A four-year engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic) from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications
