In this role, you'll:
Oversee and execute comprehensive test and assurance activities to ensure technology platforms, domains, and systems align with business requirements and industry standards.


Ensure the operational integrity and management of Transport for NSW ITS Road-side devices and systems, particularly those used by the Transport Management Centre (TMC) and Regional Traffic Control Centre.


Collaborate with project teams to validate data, tools, and control protocols for roadside devices/systems.


Conduct site inspections, commissioning, and asset management with a keen attention to detail.


Diagnose, analyse, and resolve device faults with strategic solutions.


Manage end-to-end testing, from requirement gathering to commissioning, tracking metrics, and reporting inconsistencies against assurance and technical standards.


Partner with internal and external maintenance providers to address and document device faults and issues.


Provide technical support for Transport for NSW projects involving ITS devices/systems.


Facilitate effective communication and relationship management with diverse stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met and issues are resolved promptly.


Ensure compliance with road safety protocols and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, addressing any knowledge gaps through tailored training.


Be prepared to travel within NSW as required by project needs.

About you
•Experience in translating stakeholder requirements to deliver end-to-end technology governance standards in line with technology policies and standards.


•Demonstrated experience in technical analysis, quality assurance, and testing in software development, technical support in engineering environments, and project delivery.


•Prior experience with various system protocols.


•Understanding and experience in software service delivery and project management.


•Proven ability to work in a highly complex integrated solution environment, supporting multiple systems and applications, and providing assurance over multiple platforms.

 
•Good to have prior experience in to work with Project engineers on Construction /Roads/Motorways projects demonstrating knowledge in Hardware (Device) testing methodologies, tools and techniques.
