In this role, you'll:
Work with a small team of surveyors in our Engineering and System Integrity team within the Engineering and Maintenance branch of Sydney Trains.
You’ll work in a team of Survey professionals, with a focus on providing survey support to deliver tasks such as: track maintenance, specialist rail surveys, monitoring, and control surveys.
Your team will also require your expertise in modern survey capture technologies to lead them to desired outcomes and deliverable.
This is a permanent full-time role (on-site, in person) where you will be located in Sutherland and will be required to travel and work across the Sydney Trains network.

About you
You’ll be Tertiary qualification (Degree) in Surveying or equivalent Degree, or Surveying Certificate or equivalent, or extensive Surveying experience.
You’ll hold solid interpersonal and negotiating skills, and the ability to lead a small Survey team.
You’ll hold demonstrated ability in the accurate and efficient use of Surveying instruments and equipment.
You’ll have proven experience in producing technical sketches, drawings and reports.
You’ll be willing to attain safeworking qualifications.
