Director, Project Change (Finance, Technology & Commercial)

Join our new Portfolio Management Office & Enablement (PMO&E) branch, accountable for managing the lifecycle of the Finance Technology and Commercial (FTC) divisions portfolio of projects, delivering a pathway for end-to-end execution, and for providing enabling services to the division to ensure efficient and effective operations.

In this role, you’ll:
- Lead change management and transition activities for Finance, Technology and Commercial Projects
- Support change management in areas such as Digital Signage, Smart Motorways, Opal Next Gen ticketing system and internal technology projects.
- Ensure smooth transition from project to operations handover.
- Build and grow a team of change management experts with a focus on engagement, delivery and uplifting capability.
- Develop and implement best practice change management strategies, communications, methodologies and governance controls
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration, alignment and successful project delivery outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program delivery.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in transition strategies to enhance customer stakeholder experiences.
- Measure and report on post implementation success to refine future approaches and support continuous improvement

About you
You’re a strategic leader with a proven record in managing large-scale finance, technology or commercial projects through the lifecycle.
With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you effectively navigate complex environments, influence decision making, and drive seamless change.
You excel at managing competing priorities, developing communications, mobilising resources, and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Your expertise in change management methodologies, risk mitigation and governance ensures successful project delivery and minimal operational disruption.
You are solutions-focused and thrive on innovation and continuous improvement.
You hold relevant tertiary qualifications and have extensive experience in change management, transition or transformation roles.
