In this role, you'll:
Play a pivotal role in shaping how our assets are planned, managed, and assured—across bus, ferry, light rail, and maritime services.
As the Director Asset Maintenance Strategy, you will:
• Develop and implement whole-of-life asset strategies across bus, ferry, light rail, and maritime assets.
• Act as the Functional Coordinator for the Coordinator-General Division, advising on funding allocation to optimise lifecycle costs and manage risk.
• Collaborate with delivery partners to ensure new and existing assets are aligned with long-term strategic goals.
• Influence high-level decision-making through your expertise in asset management, operational maintenance management, and risk management.

Role is based in George St Sydney. It is a hybrid role with office and at home mix according to TfNSW policy.

About you
You’re a strategic thinker with a strong background in asset management —ideally in a complex, multi-asset environment. You bring:
• A holistic view of strategic asset lifecycle planning and performance.
• Strong financial acumen, including understanding of asset accounting as it relates to assets investment decisions.
• The ability to lead cross-functional coordination and influence outcomes at senior levels.
• A passion for delivering public value through smart, sustainable asset management
