In this role, you'll:
Report to the Director Government Priority Projects and lead the accelerated delivery of high-priority, high-impact government programs across the Sydney region, aligning with Transport for NSW’s strategic goals.

Champion agile, innovative, and value-focused methodologies to drive project performance, compliance, and delivery excellence across complex programs.

Mobilise cross-functional teams and foster matrix collaboration to remove barriers and deliver timely outcomes for communities and stakeholders.

Oversee a robust performance reporting and assurance framework to enable real-time tracking, risk mitigation, and rapid decision-making.

Build and lead a high-performing, outcome-focused team with a strong culture of urgency, accountability, and innovation.

Represent Transport for NSW at senior forums, influence cross-agency strategies, and drive whole-of-government initiatives that deliver real benefits for the people of Sydney.

About you
Senior-level experience  leading complex, high-impact programs in a government or large-scale public infrastructure context, with a track record of delivering outcomes under tight timeframes and political scrutiny.

Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, governance, and performance management, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability across multi-disciplinary environments.

Strong understanding of government processes, grant administration, and public policy, with the capability to provide high-quality, timely, and politically aware strategic advice to senior executives and stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead with autonomy and sound judgement, making high-stakes decisions and managing risk in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while escalating appropriately when required.
