In this role, you'll:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of portfolio governance, performance reporting, and operational management across Sydney’s integrated transport projects.

Report to the Head of Sydney Integration and champion adaptive, value-focused project management methodologies to uplift delivery capability and drive continuous improvement across the PMO.

Lead end-to-end financial and project performance reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance with financial  guidelines, and alignment with government priorities.

Establish and manage portfolio-wide frameworks for risk management, assurance reviews, benefit realisation, KPI tracking, and quality oversight.

Drive the development of advanced reporting tools and dashboards to enable transparent, data-driven decision-making across complex, high-value programs.

Act as a thought leader in project governance and portfolio assurance, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence in transport program delivery.

About you
Senior leadership experience in overseeing program management functions within large-scale infrastructure or service delivery portfolios, ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder environments such as government or the public sector.

Deep expertise in portfolio, program, and project management, including governance, assurance, budgeting, financial oversight, risk management, and performance reporting across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive operational excellence, innovation, and cultural transformation across multi-disciplinary environments.

Strong understanding of regulatory, audit, and Grant Administration compliance frameworks, with experience ensuring transparency and accountability in financial and performance data.

Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills, with a track record of influencing senior executives, partner agencies, and governance bodies to align priorities and drive high-impact outcomes.

Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with the confidence to operate autonomously and navigate sensitive, high-risk issues while consulting appropriately on matters with broader organisational or legislative impact.
