Reporting to the Group Chief Technology Officer you will be an integral part of our newly established Branch Leadership Team. In this role you will partner with our major portfolios and lead, set and align group technology strategy to Transport for NSW’s objectives and act as the single design authority for all technology solution design and decisions.
The role will see you develop and lead the enterprise data strategy and governance at a strategic level, ensuring data is managed as a critical strategic asset throughout its lifecycle. You will set and execute data policies, standards and practices. You will leverage build operational excellence, informed decision making and exceptional customer service through leveraging data as a fundamental asset.
Some of your key accountabilities will be:
- Developing a clear and forward looking technology strategy aligned with the organisation’s long term goals.
- Influencing and driving innovation across the enterprise.
- Lead the strategic execution of the technology roadmap.
- Drive a culture of continuous innovation.
- Establish and maintain ICT governance frameworks and mitigate ICT risks.
- Lead the development and maintenance of an enterprise wide architecture framework.

About You
You are a qualified, experienced strategy and architecture professional looking for an opportunity to build and lead world class data capability within an organisation that is subject to high levels of public scrutiny:
- You bring extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role within a large and complex organisation.
- You will have demonstrated experience and a track record of developing and implementing successful IT and innovation strategies.
- You bring a deep understanding of enterprise IT architecture frameworks and best practices.
- You bring strong experience working with diverse stakeholders such as executive leadership teams, technical teams and external partners.
- You will understand the balance of addressing customer requirements whilst adhering to other regulatory, policy, government and operational conditions.
- You have the ability to articulate complex concepts and put forward compelling arguments and rationales to all levels and types of audiences.
- You are experienced in building, developing and leading high performing teams.
- You embrace a delivery mindset as the organisation continues to transform.
